A Streetcar Named Couture

Fashion-house development, evolving personal and collective style through storytelling, fashion, and self-expression.

As a creative collaborator, Laila is a wildly talented artist. She develops and offers her own inspiring ideas and has the creativity to figure out how to bring them to life. Unveiling Desires

Early imagining support, amplification, team-building, and fundraising for a groundbreaking academic research and artistic project.

“Unveiling Desires” explores BIPOC fetishistic desires using a unique dataset from voluntary fetish surveys collected over the past decade. This study provides insights into a sexually suppressed & underrepresented demographic. Key findings highlight the complexity of BIPOC sexual desires & the reclaiming of sexual autonomy. The fortuitous collection of this data offers an invaluable opportunity to advance sex education and discourse.

Unbound: Crowned in Pleasure

At the heart of Free River’s imaginative evolution is Unbound: Crowned in Pleasure—a film in development that follows Jet Setting Jasmine and King Noire as they navigate family, artistry, and cultural leadership, opening into global conversations on sex work, the rights and dignity of sex workers, and the shifting discourse on ethical pornography.

In collaboration with Royal Fetish Films & Daughters of Porn Entertainers (D.O.P.E.), the film seeks to weave personal narratives, historical contexts, and international activism, illuminating how pleasure, labor, and power intersect across cultures. It is a project rooted in lineage, in freedom, in reimagining the stories we tell about family, sex, work, and agency.

Unbound is the natural extension of Laila Ocean’s creative journey—bringing together heritage, storytelling instincts, and a vision for a world where artistic and bodily autonomy are celebrated. Now fiscally sponsored by the International Documentary Association, the film invites supporters to contribute to its unfolding as a charitable endeavor—one that champions de-stigmatization, decriminalization, and the full humanization and representation of communities long pushed to the margins.
